Get Started Fill out a short Host Family Information Form to learn more about hosting and to get connected with the local Aspect coordinator in your area. Filling out this form only indicates that you are interested in learning more – there is no commitment!
	Apply Online Complete your host family application online. Tell us about your family members, pets, daily routines, community and lifestyle. You will also be asked to give three personal references, and photos of your family and home. Every family member who is 18 years or older must submit information for a criminal background check.
	Interview at Home Meet with your local coordinator in your home. All the members of your family will be able to share their enthusiasm, concerns, questions, and discuss their expectations. We want everybody in your family to feel like they are a part of this exciting decision!
	Choose a Student Once your family has been fully vetted and approved, you will work with your coordinator to find a student that will be a great fit for your family. Approved host families can look at student photos, read student letters, and learn about each student’s interests and activities while deciding whom to host.
	Get Ready! Start getting to know your student and preparing for an unforgettable year! You will be able to call, email or Skype with your student leading up to his or her arrival, and your coordinator will give your family an orientation and Host Family Handbook to prepare you for your hosting experience. Then, head to the airport to meet the newest member of your family!
