1How much does it cost?

Aspect Foundation exchange programs are affordable and competitively priced. Costs vary according to country-of-origin, length and type of program (semester or year-long, public or private). Please visit our How to Apply page to be put in touch with the Aspect office in your home country to learn more.

2What is included?

Your program fees include: individual host family selection and high school placement, room and board provided by a carefully selected host family, support and 24/7 emergency assistance from professional staff in the U.S. and abroad, documentation for obtaining a visa, comprehensive pre-departure information, orientations throughout your exchange year, information letters, and an Official Student Handbook.

3Do you accept students from my country?

Aspect Foundation currently works with over 30 different countries around the world. Please visit our How to Apply page to contact us and learn more.

4Where in the U.S. will I be placed?

Aspect Foundation students are placed in the U.S. on a nationwide basis. You should be ready and willing to live in any region of the U.S. Students are placed with carefully screened host families who live in small and large communities all over the country. As an Aspect student, you will get to have an authentic American experience, living with a loving host family who will include you in their daily lives.

5What are the language requirements?

You must take an English assessment exam provided by Aspect Foundation to determine your language abilities. You will need to be comfortable enough with English to attend and succeed in an American high school.

6What sort of support will I have as an exchange student?

You will have a local Aspect coordinator who will supervise your exchange year and be your advocate while you are in the U.S. He or she can answer any questions that you may have and assist you with adjusting and organizing events with other exchange students. There is a friendly and responsive team of staff of Regional Managers, National Advisors, and Headquarters staff who work to make sure you are comfortable and supported. Students can also call our 24/7 emergency line at any time for support or assistance. We will provide you with pre-departure training in your home country, and a series of orientations in the U.S. to communicate Aspect policies and guidance.
