High School Programs Details

  • Placement in a Belgian high school for a semester or academic year
  • Placement with a carefully-selected host family in the French-speaking part of Belgium
  • At least 1 year of French language study required
  • Students take a high school course load that may include subjects such as French, physics, geography, biology, and more
  • Comprehensive health and accident insurance included

  • Optional short weekend trips (for example to Paris, Maastricht, Strasbourg) available at extra cost bookable while on program

$100 non-refundable application fee and $500 deposit fee are not included. $500 deposit is non-refundable unless student is not accepted to the program by Aspect’s Belgian partner. Visa, residence permit, and passport costs are not included. Please note you may be required to appear in person at the Belgian Consulate with jurisdiction over your state to obtain your visa. Depending on where you live, this may require out-of-state travel for you and your legal guardian. Additionally, students should expect to budget between $200-300 a month for incidental and personal expenses (such as school fees and lunch if taken at school) while on program.
